What Joe Scott doesn't like about Rock Cafe:
Tried the rock again I think for the last time. Ordered two pancakes with Patty sausage and coffee for $14.00, 17.00 with the tip. The pancakes were the worst I have ever had, they must have weighed five pounds each and were so tough you could have used them for sandals. I ate a little of them and that was enough. We travel through this area periodically for years from Dallas and we always stop by Rock Cafe for a meal. Breakfast is everything you can imagine including homemade biscuits and when we have went they had chocolate gravy like my grandmother made. Friday nights is the catfish buffet with all the sides. Buffets normally have some sort of salads and great sides overall and there is always a desert. It doesn't matter what day if the week, there is always something delicious at the Rock Cafe!
A breakfast at The Rock Cafe really enjoyed it. The waitress was nice. The food was good.

This was the only restaurant in Waldron today and the buffet was open. Today's meal was Hamburg steak, chicken and dumplings, white beans with ham and potatoes with Braunschweig. The only and only staff met me at the door and since the winter storm through the last night was the power in the front half of the building and she had to make the plate in the back. The meal was hot and fresh. The price was less than $10,000, so it was a good deal. You have a drive around your back now. Good lunch good restaurant good staff
Loves the buffet, but the menu items are great, cannot wait to go Friday for fish. It is a very friendly and clean place to eat or even coffee and hang.
