"I went today to Shiki, just me a friend . We probably got about $40 dollars worth of food. When we got the bill I was surprised that they added an automatic 18% gratuity, when I asked why they just said that they just put it on every purchase. Not sure why they put “recommended gratuity” on the bottom of the recipient still when they already add it to your tap. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3"

"The Public Burger was superb! Not your typical burger at all! The combination of burger, bacon, cheddar cheese, pickled onions, and aioli on a ciabatta bun was simply delish! The shoestring fries were tasty as well.......a seasoning that is hard to explain but very good! I highly recommend this place. The atmosphere was relaxed, comfortable, and fancy, but not highfalutin."

"Wow. Just....wow. The tongue pastrami...the octopus....the halibut cheeks...the marrow...just wow. Am I being inarticulate because all I can say is wow? Or is that just a sign of how fantastic the food is here. Oh yeah, the service was great, too. The waitress was kind to our kids and did a great job with everything. So the best way to sum it up is......wow."

"B4 is always a great experience. We decided to go a ride on our e- things (bike and one wheel) and weren’t gonna buy anything. Of course.Then we thought it would be nice to stop by for a quick drink and snack.A martini, a French 75, some braised asparagus with tetragonal, dill and chives, and a charcuterie plate later, we rode home in the rain. Laughing all the way.When they have it, their Supreme de Voille (braised chicken breast in cream with spring veggies) is INSANELY GOOD. needless to say it’s a special so try for it.The pics are those, from a year ago. "I was a bit worried about this place. Happy Cow reviews mentioned vegan cheese, but the menu did not. A GF/vegan crust could be amazing… or weird. But it turned out pretty good! We had sun dried tomatoes and artichoke hearts with the daiya, vegan sauce, and Gf crust. Not a pizza I’d jump up and down about, but better than expected. More than I have come to expect in Walla Walla."
