The Coopers Alehouse next door to The Wallaroo Marina Apartments are a bonus to the area. The meals are wonderful, as are the spacious rooms inside the hotel/alehouse. The main room and the dining area was large and overall the Alehouse is a well designed building incorporating the games/pokies room. The place also offers the possibility to sit outside and be served in beautiful weather, And into the accessible rooms also come guests with wheelchairs or physiological limitations. WLAN is available free of charge.

We stayed next door and while very convenient, we were so disappointed with the food we only ate their once. They have good bar and very good gaming facilities. Service was good. read more.

Food was good but there was hair in a salad my relative had and some of the burgers were a bit dry and needed to be a bit more juicer. But besides from that...

"Not sure what happened to the regular friendly service today, but it was non existent. 4 of us had chocolate gelato total. One child refused to eat theirs saying he didn’t like it, it didn’t taste nice. The rest of us tried ours and agreed it was different to the norm. Much lighter and a hint of a minty taste. We then overheard another table of customers saying exactly the same thing. They went and told staff who denied anything and basically too bad. We also took one back with the same reply. Funny enough the container of chocolate gelato in the freezer had been changed over. If so many people say the same thing then clearly there’s something wrong. Instead of denying it, own up to it and say thank you for your feedback, we will look into it and offer a replacement if a customer isn’t happy."

"Two stars only for the chefs. Miserable staff behind the counter. Our coffee order wrong only for them to try and convince us it had been done correctly; however when you have been drinking the same coffee for years with no sugar you know they’ve put in sugar (and none in the other order) you can tell. Won’t be back don’t recommend. Apologies to the chefs who produce wonderful food."
