I have driven past this restaurant for years and never thought to stop in. Truth be told I'm not a huge BBQ fan, but Big Bertha's BBQ has changed my mind! I ordered the Brisket Sandwich on a Jalapeno Cheddar bun and my husband ordered the Brisket baked potato. My husband is a self proclaimed BBQ snob and we both loved enjoyed our meals. What Deborah N doesn't like about Big Bertha's:
Sausage was overcooked and shriveled. The brisket had large amounts of fat on it. The fried okra was okay and the Mac and cheese was tasted like out of a box. My spouse cut his tongue on a piece of small piece of sharp bone from the sausage. If you ask for more barbecue sauce they want to charge you 50 cents more for a tiny serving. the size of a plastic container used for condiments. In closing the meats tasted like... Really good food!! Good choice of background music; fitting. Definitely coming back again!!
