Just popped in on the way home. Only had burgers. Well cooked with a nice portion of chips and side salad. Staff very helpful and friendly. Young man serving didn’t just ask if the food was okay but took time to explain all the activities during the week. Asked us to make any suggestions to improve the pub and hoped we would visit again. To begin on a positive note, they seem to be well on top of the COVID measures and everything is in place. However, the general “couldn’t care less” attitude towards new customers is a real negative. We waited nearly an hour for our meals (the place wasn’t busy, but we only saw two members of staff), and no one bothered to see if were all right whilst we waited.
