A self-service buffet with a good selection of southern comfort food. Pulled pork and fried chicken were excellent. Plus their own version (like everyone's is) of barbecue hash. The banana pudding was more like banana pound cake with no pudding the night we visited. Otherwise, everything was good. A retro touch is a bagged loaf of Wonder Bread on each table. What Lou Tenant doesn't like about Dukes Barbecue:
Been going here all my life. I actually love this restaurant and no issues with the food or workers but every time I come now the prices keep increasing more and more. Don't trust any prices in the pictures unless it's a new picture from a week ago. Also it's a whole lot cheaper if you order takeout instead. The plates they give you are more than enough. It has been a few years since the last visit, but it's just as good as I remember. Consistently great.
On I-95 S near Walterboro and feeling past hungry. Dukes BBQ served up some amazing pulled pork, ribs, slaw, and hush puppies. So good. They have an “AYCE” buffet that will satisfy anyone who appreciates southern goodness. The ladies behind the counter took good care of us. Highly recommend Duke’s if you’re looking for delicious BBQ!

Stopped at this place on our way back to Florida. Absolutely impressed. The food is delicious.
