Great place for a drink and live music. People are friendly and service is pretty quick. They had a great band when I was there, and seem to have good live music several nights a week. Really good sound setup for the bands as well. My only knock is they allow smoking, so I just stunk of smoke when I got home and had to shower to get smoke smell off me, and had to throw clothes in wash as well. Possibly worth it for t... What M S doesn't like about The Downtown Tavern:
Used to be better, basically. The smoke smell is there and lingers on the clothes a little, but it isn't nearly as bad as the Tap. Used to have courtyard, stage, and ping pong outside, but now, it does not. No draft beers. More live music than other places, but yeah, it's really loud.
