"Had a lovely dinner at The Five Fields. We had the tasking menu which was versatile, tasty and well presented. The atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming. The staff was attentive. The food was well paced. The dishes themselves were very tasty, though some had somewhat similar aroma to them and weren't so original. The execution was excellent. "Lovely home-cooked place in a local restaurant with a great vibe and community feel. We were seated on a long table in the very heart of the restaurant and loved the friendly buzz. The staff were super nice and did everything they could to make us feel good. It was a Christmas meal and everything was home cooked and delicious. Turkey wasn't dry (although I had the veggie option) and lovely homemade stuffing. Sprouts cooked as I should really cook them if I could cook properly. We all loved it."

"Went in on Monday night alone and the atmosphere was really warm and relaxed. Really fun and inventive cocktails at a very reasonable price. The bar guys were both so lovely and friendly and really knowledgable about the drinks. Great presentation and glassware and I...loved the decor and music; it didn’t seem to have its head up it’s arse like a lot of other places can. All in all it was faultless really, I shall definitely be returning on my next trip to london"
