I used to avoid this place like the plague a few years back but visited again recently with low expectations. In fact the food and service were so so so much better and we both really enjoyed our meals. What topmedsec doesn't like about The Royal Forest:
Came here on Friday 13th (dont say it)! for a lunch with hubby. Arrived to see an empty car park and a sign on the door saying as from 09 10 23 only serving breakfast. Was pulling out and a customer told us that it was closing down and that someone had bought the whole lot and it was being refurbished and wont be open for about a year.
