I have enjoyed Red Rooster chicken from several locations over many years.Ok, maybe it is not the healthiest food around, but I find that I don't finish a meal with the same fatty aftertaste that comes with some other takeaway chicken (read KFC and Kingleys)I also appreciate the option of picking up a quick roast meal (chicken, potato, pumpkin, carrot and peas), rather than the fried chicken and chips choice. What User doesn't like about Red Rooster:
Red Rooster takeaways vary. My favorite is chicken and chips. I have had good run having food at Red Rooster. However last time I found the chicken little bit oily but generally good for a quick meal. View all feedback.
The food at this Red Rooster is delicious and the service is friendly. The wait for food can be a bit slow, but it is worth it. I now visit this restaurant more often because they offer fried chicken that is quite similar to a popular Filipino fast food chain. Originally, this menu item was only available at the Charnwood location.
This restaurant recently underwent a renovation and now has a fresh new look. The menu features some signature dishes that set it apart from other fast food chains and have a unique and delicious taste. Be prepared for busy periods during peak hours.

Plenty of options for everyone, including chicken, fish, salad and baked vegetable options. Chicken is much less fatty than most other options.
