"My friend and I accidentally walked in this place because we are Asians and we decided to try something new that day. And we both think we find treasure! it's satisfying with a reasonable price. "Owner called Nihat, of this restaurant is extremely rude and obnoxious. Never going again. I went there with my husband and my daughter who is 4 years old. It was my husbands birthday and wanted to take him out for dinner. As I was passing him on my way back to the table with my daughter he tutted at my daughter as apparently he thought she was in his way and was extremely rude. my husband mentioned it to him and his reply was to ask to take my husband out for a fight…. !!! What sort of a person does this especially as he can clearly see we were a family. Horrible horrible man"

"We had a well-deserved coffee and cake at Willow Trees Café after a lovely cross county walk. Refreshments were excellent and it was nice sitting outside by the river Lea (there was even a swan on the river with several young cygnets). There is not much parking at (or near) the Café so most people walk from Wheathampstead (along the Lea Valley Walk) or walk cycle from Harpenden along the old railway line (which is also part of the Lea Valley Walk). The café does have a set of cycle racks. It should be noted that the café is only at weekends and bank holiday Monday’s between May Bank Holiday weekend and August Bank Holiday Monday. Contactless payment is now accepted and additional outside seating has recently been added."

"Absolutely great experience. from the moment we came in, we were greeted by some of the most friendly staff I've ever seen. always attentive, always polite, really well maintained. the menu selection is great, offers a lot of choices without overwhelming. the design of the menu helps. the service itself was fast without pressure, and the eating itself was fantastic from start to end."
