I've let myself in for the recording and ordered two chicken pupusa and the yuca frita. the positive: friendly service! i the server was very warm and welcoming, and it did not take long to prepare. the pupusas were delicious: soft, tasty, and when they have met with a hot soak, they are an extra tasty part of the meal. the negatiw: yuca frita. in many respects the yuca frita is a sort of medium-American take on a poutin; there are casavaries that are covered in a rich sauce, pork and a crispy salad. in the theory (and certainly on the photo), it should be a delicious firm. what I got was not good. the best way I can describe it was that it...read more"

"Had a Facebook pizza win there a week or so ago, picked it up last night, my experience was the staff don’t seem very aware of this promotion and had several long holds. That said, the pizza was probably the best we’ve ever had, delicious , nice toppings. crust exceptional, tasty.Thanks. I would never hesitate to order their pizza. 5 stars."

"Met a friend for lunch at Famoso because of its convenience to her work location. It was a Friday at noon, and surprisingly not too busy, which was nice, as we had great service, the food came our really quickly (perfect when you need to get back to the office) and we didn't feel rushed to have to leave and give someone else our table.Quite a mix of clientele, from families with younger kids to business people.We both enjoyed the lunch special, which has several options for around $12. Mine was the Sofia Loren sandwich (a vegetarian option), which was good. Could have had a little more flavour, though. There are ways to jazz up vegetables a little bit. And as always, I upgraded the salad with their caprese salad (a favourite of mine) for a couple bucks more. But it, too, seemed a little plain that day. Maybe I should have asked for the pesto on it.All in all, it was a decent lunch for a reasonable price, and they're obviously aware that people need to get back to work and don't make you wait long."
