Fresh pastries and fast service! Cafe by Croute is located in the regions building on the first floor. The staff is very pleasant/helpful. There are plenty of pastries to choose from. I had a croissant although I'll be back to try a cookie. The prices are comparable to similar coffee shops in the area. I also had an iced chai tea latte which was delicious. I'll be back. "Probably the best meal I've ever had there and the meals are always great. Butternut squash soup is simply to die for, cauliflower appetizer perfectly balanced. The butternut squash ravioli was outstanding. Shortribs were excellent. If I had to say anything negative about this place, I think their deserts are the weakest link. And the noise level and crowd level gets a little too energetic towards a respectable dinner hour. I always go super early to beat the crowds and noise."
