"Often call at R'Teapot for coffee or lunch with friends and it is a gem of a place. Friendly and very comfortable whether you are eating or just having a drink. It is nice to see the tables outside particularly when you have little ones to amuse."

"I'm so glad I found this sweet jewel of a caffe. first, the coffee is amazing. but what is probably more amazing is probably the familiar atmosphere. they are very warmly welcomed by the owner. when they go up, they know that the caffe actually looks and feels like someone (very geeky) living room. they can come here with their children and play board games or with their friends to hang and play retro video games. I also ordered breakfast here and not only was it very tasty, but also very cheap."

"Prior to COVID we have had drinks here as it is a bar as well as serving food, coffee, soft drinks and delicious milkshakes. There is a really nice friendly atmosphere. So please ensure you sit in when we are all able to again. We...ordered a Valentine's afternoon tea for two and collected it on Sunday morning. It was ready to collect on time and was perfect in every way. A great family business that all locals should support. We will be ordering a Mothers Day afternoon tea takeaway for sure. "We'd decided to go to Green Lane fish and chip restaurant last Friday having had a busy day.We had been intending to have the rag pudding but when we sat down Paul the owner manager told us they were doing a Christmas special which he highly recommended as did all the staff. So we both had the Festive pie with chips,mushy peas and gravy. The pie included Turkey,sausages,stuffing in gravy and was absolutely delicious.We both really enjoyed it but I struggled to eat it all as it was quite a generous portion. As usual the staff were very friendly and helpful. The service has always been excellent and overall value for money."
