What Rose Rogahn likes about Nonna Casalinga:
We started as table of two then ended up as four. They accommodated the changes without any problems.I was recommended the fish (snapper) which was lighter meal sitting in ratatouille. Perfect. Our waitress knew her menu and was very efficient. The oyster starter were a great start to our meal.Steak was cooked perfectly. Not cheap but well worth coming here for some great food. View all feedback.

read moreThe Italian-named restaurant might give the impression of Italian specialties, but that was not the case here. The place is simple and fairly busy, with a limited menu. The food was good although presentation was lacking. Service was quick but overall average. While the food was faultless, the service was lacking, with attention mostly given to locals. Despite this, the restaurant accommodated a change in reservation smoothly. The fish and steak dishes were especially praised. The Bombolinis dessert was a standout, despite being a bit pricey. The absence of Nonna was noted sadly by one reviewer, but the food was still enjoyable. The service was a bit slow due to understaffing, and the food was good but not exceptional. The wine selection was limited and service was lacking. A couple travelling through Warrnambool stumbled upon the bustling Italian restaurant and were delighted with the fried oysters and Porterhouse steak. The dessert advice was appreciated, and the warm ambiance and friendly service left a lasting impression. Overall, Nonna Casalinga is a special and distinctive Italian restaurant offering fresh and quality fare that changes seasonally, providing a memorable dining experience.
