Good service, nice atmosphere, absolutely delicious food. ?You won't be disappointed. I will definitely be going back. My only complaint is that they don't open till 3 but that's OK. Yes the food prices are a tad high but the quality of the food makes it more then worth it. ? View all feedback.

I love the meaning behind the Warroad American Legion, but the owner/manager has ruined that for me. He was extremely unprofessional, rude, and created the restaurant unwelcoming when I was there on Thursday. I felt so embarrassed and sorry for the severs as they were the ones continuing to apologize to us, but he never did. View all feedback.

1hr 20 min to get salads before 5 Prime Rib specials on Friday June 25,2021 @6pm. We always bring family&friends here for their GREAT PRIME RIB!! Usually GREAT SERVICE!but this time-HORRIBLE! We brought 3 Vietnam Veteran&Family from Arizona, Minneapolis up to our proud WARROAD AMERICAN LEGION.She forgot our drinks-2 Iced Teas+1DietCoke&messed up our easy order 5 PrimeRibs-sadly-too much grissle&fat). New Staff& Understaffed. $150 meal+ $35 bar tab+Tip $40+$10)-1 bartender who had huge line. We did alcohol drinks&3 waters For our 3 Veteran)@bar, because we saw waitress was overwhelmed. I apologized emencely for our family dinner outing. Hopefully next time it will be better.
I 'm not sure what happened to this place but it is FAR from what it used to be. My husband and I waited for 35 minutes before an irritated woman came to our table to ask us what we wanted, no hello, no menus, no smile, no eye contact. She never returned after that. I ordered a king cut prime rib and my husband ordered a ribeye, ordered them to be cooked medium. 25 minutes later a hurried young man dropped out plates off without saying a word and scurried back to the basement. Steaks were cooked so well done that they couldn 't be cut or chewed. It was definitely not freshly cooked or cut. The king cut prime rib was about 1/8 thick and very obviously microwaved to death. Ribeye was so full of grissle that my husband ended up spitting into his napkin with every bite. Green beans were from a can. Baked potatoes, piping hot, were the only eatable item on the plate. No bread was served like before. Salad was pathetic. Less than a handful of lettuce and half of a piece of carrot maybe an inch long. No wait staff to be seen. We ate our meals without beverages which made it that much worse. I took my steak downstairs to the kitchen because there was nobody else to talk to. I 'm not even sure who actually worked there. I was greeted by a very rude man followed by a rude woman who took my plate and said we will find you. No apology, no customer service, no willingness to make it right. Steak came back and again it was thin and microwaved to a very well done state. What a waste of a good cut of meat! Still no service upstairs. My husband went to the bar area to pay the bill and for two inedible steak dinners and two soft drinks it was $67. We will never go back here again. Beyond disappointed with both the lack of service and very poor quality food. I boxed up the microwaved steak for my dog and she wouldn 't even eat it.
What happened to the food here? Microwaved prime rib? It used to be so much better than this. Very disappointing. $65 for two steak dinners that were inedible. No servers.
