A beautiful looking pub in a lovely spot that is very popular with walkers. Service is not too bad but price v quality of food has a lot to be desired. Definitely won’t hurry back and certainly won’t eat here again. View all feedback.
What MyView doesn't like about The Red Lion:
Disappointed with the menu as the Main courses were dominated by burger options. Food was OK and service similar. A shame as wasn’t as good as when we’ve previously visited years ago. Lovely setting for a drink on a summer’s evening, but unlikely to return for dinner unless there’s a major overhaul of the menu. View all feedback.
Lovely pub, great staff, but ridiculously overpriced food. Was going to order a steak , but ended up with a dozen chips for £3.60
