What Vaughn Waters doesn't like about Bombay Street Food:
first place we arrived in dc was very excited for eating. the waiter never greeted us and stood next to us instead and waited for our order. After we received the samosas (which were good after my other hospitable), we found a living and crawling beetle in the food, especially the sauce. we have canceled our order and are appalled. two stars simply because the samosas were good, but I do not recommend. read more.

Favorite Indian food spot in the district, the food is creative yet authentic. I was particularly a fan of their take on traditional appetizers.

"One of my favorite light-lunchboxes in dc. they have in the ground themselves rice, nudel and or salat bowl with a southeast Asian flair. A.k.a dressings are more fish sauce and acid-based, which is delicious and refreshing, but still tasteful. when I first visited, I think it was one of the owners who worked the front so that there was a little more love in the salat than my new visit, but the employee helped me this time was still very friendly. the chicken salad is always a winner and they can choose how sharp they want it. they also have a series of vegan dressings and various protein options or even a kicherbsen curry when they look different. the star of my visit was this time the buttersemolina cake. this cache was so soft and creamy with a warm fat syrup, and the nuts and light texture of the smolina really works in this cake. an extremely decadent way to finish and otherwise light meal"
