Pretty good gelato, but expensive. The flavors were all pretty good. My son asked me how gelato is different from ice cream... I said I like the texture and the true-to-life flavor. Chocolate should taste like your eating a good chocolate bar. Strawberry should taste like your biting into a ripe, super-sweet strawberry. And the texture should be dense and gooey. It used to be my favorite place in DC, but I have to admit that Dolcezza has really caught up. Flavors were OK, but lacking creativity. Service was poor.
