I visited Georgetown Cupcake with some friends. While I wasn't overly impressed with the cupcakes myself, I recognize that it is a well-known establishment in Georgetown. One of my friends, on the other hand, was very pleased with their experience.

I am disappointed to leave a negative review, especially considering that Georgetown Cupcakes is one of my daughter's favorite places. Despite living in Arizona, we often order from this bakery.

Your show is one of the reasons I wanted to visit Georgetown. You had a shop where I live, but I have to visit THE ONE in Georgetown. You have to say they held the consistency between the sites. Cupcakes are as good as usual. My favorite remains red velvet as they use cream cheese and not regular freezing like another business. Really good red velvet cupcake! Other flavors such as key lime (not on the menu when I visited) and Mocha peanut butter were fantastic.

Undoubtedly there is a lot of hype around this small cupcake shop that said it is all valid. Come early (come often), but surely you will come there before the line (there is no time for it). I go for the vegan cupcakes because why not! The staff is great and can help with the selection. They have everything about each of them. If you are in DC for fun this place is FUN! If you work in town... Live a little.
