Such a wonderful place!! The owner clearly cares for his customers, and the food is absolutely delicious! I had the avgolemono soup which was so tasty, and the owner gave me extra bread. The bread was clearly homemade, and fresh?it was so fluffy and warm. I definitely plan to be back after this great experience! View all feedback.

Had a gyro here today. It was just good, not as great as they used to be. The meat seems to be pre-cut, not fresh off the rotisserie anymore. Also seem to put less feta these days. View all feedback.
This place is an institution. The avgolemono age spanakopita alone are enough reason to go, but I've never had anything here that I didn't love. The specials change all the time and are always worth trying. It's a tiny takeout place with a lot of character, and it's done if the best food in DC. Food: 5/5
