I have traveled far for good Chinese food and this is by far the best in the country. The orange beef is extremely good and very crispy. If you have to travel an hour, every minute is worth it. View all feedback.
What Stefan Illig doesn't like about Henry's Chinese Cafe:
FOOD POISONING. I ate Henrys last night 4/13 at 8 pm. I had severe vomiting and diarrhea for 16 hours straight. Literally could not leave the bathroom and have not been able to keep even a sip of water down. Bad food is one thing, POISONING your customers is so far out of line. I hope none of the children who were in there celebrating their birthday got poisoned this bad. View all feedback.
We ate here a few times and the food is always great. If you are looking for an affordable, low key Chinese restaurant, that is your place. The staff is always super helpful and honest when it helps to choose dishes based on what you are in the mood for. I recommend it when you're in the area or go through.
I think I'm a normal... The only restaurant I really go to when I want to eat. Service and food are fantastic. Today I visited Gabby and Chesea. Both are great. In the past my friend and I were amazingly helped by Jessa and her. One of the most important reasons why we always return. The servers.. Bartenders.. Food.. Everything is so good. The only negative.. Is the crazy (causes now ex-owner that we have seen berate the servers right For no reason in front of us. He's terrible. And mean, reference to the new owner. Congratulations on buying chickens. This is our favorite. Maybe you'll tell Henry to keep them and the customers away. Other than that. We suggest this restaurant to everyone! Delicious every time:
After a long day on the slopes.... the welcome family atmosphere (and prices) are as soothing as the specialities of the cook, with your favorite liberation. My son and I had asked the people who work in Vail where they go to Chinese. They answered all Henry's Cafe! So drive west from Vail to Rt 70 to 175 Main St., Edwards, CO... and enjoy! And surely give yourself time to go the area after dinner. Very refreshing...
Fresh, friendly. Our Gaggle of five tired, hungry skiers was thrilled by the quality of food, with good fresh ingredients and the fast, polite service of Jennifer, our waitress. The signature of spicy eggplant dish was excellent. The cups of jasmine tea were nice, large ceramic to keep it warm for the meal. We were amazed at how fast our food was served after our order.
Food is very good. Well worth the 20 min drive from Vail. Vail has no good Chinese good! If you are concerned about service ask for Krissy
