"I was very skeptical about how good a 3 Michelin star restaurant could be and could it possibly be worth my 2 hour drive and the incredibly high prices. Well the restaurant was fabulous. Prie fixe menu but everything was prepared with perfect attention to detail and the food really was so much better. The wine pairings were also good. The rooms were very nice, but the bathrooms were small with no tub and just not quite at the same level of exquisite as the restaurant. The staff clearly bought into meeting their guests needs and we did not meet any staff who sincerely wanted to help in any way possible. I highly recommend this inn to anyone who wants to make the drive and drop a couple thousand dollars."

"This was an amazingly fun stop after hiking Skyline Drive. Great local beer on tap and an ole folksy dude out on the deck singing songs both my father and my wife's father sang when we were young. The deck was pup friendly and somehow we beat the crowd as within ten minutes the place was overrun take away, get there early ."
