Food was great! Service was excellent. Waiter was really nice and friendly. We went for the Pooch menu. Leo loved the peanut butter and banana popsicle!! Great idea! Thank you for being dog friendly!!! View all feedback.
What Nick Jones doesn't like about Art And Soul At Yotel Washington Dc:
Look at this bathroom. It's like a middle school bathroom stall that just opens up into the middle of the room. Unless you are a solo traveler, this is unacceptable. Even then, not really. And for over $300 a night! Shame. Give your patrons a proper bathroom. Even Motel 6 has a bathroom door. Good grief, people. View all feedback.
I always try to sneak away at lunch to enjoy a 5start meal. Luckily I am always back within the hour because the service is quick and the food is amazing. I love the grass fed burger, the chicken biscuit.. what else... ohhh the fired chicken and mac and cheese yummers. I have also been for Sunday brunch... thank goodness I don't have to go back to work after eating such a filling meal on Sundays.. This place never disappoints
I had the pleasure of enjoying both breakfast and dinner here and I have one word…. MMMMMMM! The BLT Benedict was the best I have ever tasted, the thick crispy bacon and tomato jam really took the traditional benedict to a whole new delicious level. For dinner I ordered the Sweet Corn Veloute with crab hushpuppies and heirloom tomatoes – again, like NOTHING my taste buds have ever tasted. It was full of flavor. My only complaint, I wanted more of it. The staff was very attentive. And the vibe was a cross between cool and rustic, not the least bit stuffy, very welcoming. I will most certainly make another stop here when in the area again.
This was my first time to DC and i was so lucky to find Art and Soul. I've never had carrot soup like this before. It was delicious! I could have had a second bowl, however the salmon with mushrooms and spaetzle was a wonderful way to end my day. I'll recommend this establishment to everyone I know...
We’ve been here a few times and haven’t been disappointed. First we ordered from the bar- the bartender makes me a variation on a Moscow Mule which we’ve nicknamed the “Lee Special” and it’s my favorite drink! Then we moved on to our wonderful dinner! Our waiter Vernon was so nice and friendly- he made suggestions for us and we were really pleased with his service. My husband and I shared the cornbread appetizer -yummy! Then he had a burger with bacon and a fried egg and I had shrimp& grits- both delicious! Then we had coffee and dessert- a cheesecake and a bread pudding. What a wonderful evening- we’ll be coming back again
We dined for breakfast and dinner the Saturday we were in town. Small but freshly fantastic selection for each, I quite enjoyed both meals. I thought I wasn't hungry enough for an entree so got the corn soup with crab hushpuppies and wished there were free refills! Everyone in my party seemed to have a similar experience and really enjoyed (devoured) their food as well. Dessert was superb and our waiter was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. Plus the staff humored our rapid water drinking, checking on us often.
