Love this place! Have been going to Black Coffee for about 3 years now and it is one of my favorite coffee shops in the city. The baked good are outstanding, especially the cheddar biscuits! Although I always get black coffee (as in no cream), it always tastes fresh and perfectly brewed! Love the ample outdoor seating and the fact that the cafe is located well outside the busy DC center. This used to be one of our favorite breakfast places in the area, but they changed their menu and now, it's kind of a bummer. They used to have this amazing vegan breakfast sandwich..not even vegan, but it was breakfast perfection.
