Since I work from home, I was looking around my Brightwood neighborhood trying to find a healthy option for lunch and stumbled upon this gem last week.
This is a good place to stop for a quick to go meal after work. The staff is very friendly and the food is good.

"While the other three diners were satisfied with their eating, I was not. the rabbit roulade and the duck breast lubricated as if the dishes stayed too long under a heat lamp and were dry. while I like endive, this cooking method is completely ridiculous. Do not enjoy the room on the upper floor, as we enjoyed other areas of the restaurant in the past."

"Lovely dinner. May be the best French Onion soup that I have eating. The baked oyster were also very nice, as were our entrees of duck and venison. My husband was very happy with this apple tart dessert. My only criticism was that my Grand Marnier soufflé was lacking in flavor with just a strong “egg” taste. We will return, but next time I will try the chocolate or raspberry soufflé."

From the gracious and helpful reception in the classy lobby of the Hay Adams Hotel, to the friendly and competent bartender, Martin, in the iconic Off the Record bar, to being immediately seated at our appointed reservation time at a quiet and separate table. The service was knowledgable and expert. From wines, amuse bouche, to main course to the elegant deserts plus a birthday Napoleon with candle. Hit all the notes I wanted for a classy celebration.
