at our last visit to matisse (a lot of years ago) we have praised never to come back because eating the price was not guaranteed and the service was inexpensive. we received a gift certificate for our jubilee, so we returned tonight. what an amazing turnaround! the service was excellent and the food was great. we're coming back. read more.

Matisse is always reliable. We had the butternut squash soup, beet salad and eggplant caponata to start. All very tasty. Our entrees were the branding and the arctic char.
