I'm a big fan of Laos food. The food here was super delicious. The Larb was 100% authentic taste can confirm. The price is a little high, but it is understandable with the location. If you are in the area and looking for good Asian food, you should definitely check out this place. View all feedback.
What Alicia Ivey doesn't like about Cafe Khao Neow:
If there was an option to leave a no star review I would have, food was overpriced, overcooked and left us feeling sick and lack of management made it difficult to let them know that the food was not what should be served for $15 and up definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND View all feedback.
Beef jerky and sticky rice was great. My sisters loved the mountain of fried rice they got. Lao tea and Lao coffee were pretty good. The spicy sauce that came with the roasted pork belly was spicy as hell (I have a low tolerance for spice but my fiancedoesn't) but still really good. Waitress and the cooks did a very good job. Definitely going back for dinner
Cafe Khao Neow is probably one of my favorite restaurants in Alaska?especially since going vegan. The food and service are always consistent and the place is always clean. The Veg Curry Noodle Soup is amazing and I always have enough for leftovers thenext day. Definitely five stars!
We stopped here for lunch on our way to Seward, and were pleasantly surprised with how good everything was! The food has tons of flavor and the portions are pretty decent. We ordered the pork laab (which comes with soup and your choice of rice), and the tomyum fried rice. The fried rice portion size was probably double what I've seen in other places in AK. Absolutely recommend!
If I can say something... You have to try this place!!! Everything is amazing!!! The food will speak for itself!!! Trust me.
The food was good, not what I expected, but that's because I don't read exactly. I expected chicken pho... this is chicken noodle soup, but...
