Johnny Fresco - Waterloo

This is my new favorite place in the whole of KW area. A very unique and standalone restaurant on a contract with the well-known chains you see on every corner. Fantastic food, big portions and reasonable prices. Try the Poutine Ultimate ?

We love this place. Burgers are fresh and not greasy, the pita are delicious (chicken bacon is my fave) poutine are huge. Lots of toppings to choose from for your Burgers and pitas. They have daily specials.

Swing through while in town. They have a pretty extensive menu and all the poutine toppings one could ask for. I ordered an original poutine, and it came out just as expected, fries were hot, cheese was gooey and plentiful, and there was enough gravy to get all the way down. My wife ordered a pita and she really enjoyed it, and has since been talking about wanting to go back for another. The staff were super friendly and the restaurant was clean. Would definitely swing by again!

I think I've come here for the last time. I've ordered ahead for pickup multiple times always asking them how long it will be and without fail, I always end up waiting 15 minutes on top of the time they quoted me.The food isn't cheap, and it's nowhere near as good as you'd expect at those prices. The burgers are like hockey pucks, dried out and rubbery.There are much better places to get a burger around town.

Very reasonable prices, many options without sacrificing quality, friendly staff and overall a good experience whenever I have been. Would recommend! They also have some healthy options like the pitas and salads which is appreciated.Parking: Always free spots when I go. This has never been an issue.
