5% discount for students btw. Place is a order, pay, then sit down place. For someone who hasn't had much Filipino food before this place was a nice introduction. I love grill food and the portions were a good size. Got the pancit and lechon kawali, 10/10. Would also very much recommend getting the ube ice cream, it's top with a ginger sauce which served as a good contrast of flavours. View all feedback.
What Richard Richard doesn't like about Rosel's Authentic Filipino Food:
First time trying it and unfortunately I didn't have the best experience here in terms of the food. I ordered a main dish called Tapsilog. I was expecting a garlic fried rice like described in the menu, but it was a regular white rice. The rice was very dry, I had a hard time eating it, it was a also not very fragrance like the usual South East Asian's jasmine rice I'm used too. I also found the value for price to be... Really enjoyed the sidig and lechon kawali! The street food platter is easily shareable and a hit ?
Awesome authentic Filipino food made and served by amazing people.Come here if you’re interested in what food in the Philippines is like.Highly recommend the pineapple soda. If you can come with 3-4 people you can share one of the large platters, best way to sample the different food options.Heads up that their popular items tend to sell out as they prepare limited quantities. Try and get there earlier for dinner if possible.
We ordered a few things, street food appetizers, which is very good, the chicken skins very crunchy, can't stop eating, the sumay, enough meat, the spring rolls just ok.My main dish was the noodles, Pork Mami Soup, in my opinion the taste not enough, very light, ?But the other main dishes were yummy, pinoy sweet and sour and lenchon kawali.I'd like to go again to try other dishes.
I've been supporting Rosel's since day one (literally since the first day they opened). Not only is their food beautiful and delicious, they are also kind, wonderful people. I've tried almost all of their dishes, and I loved them all. You can tell they put so much love and care into every dish they serve. They use fresh local ingredients, and for every sale they donate $1 to Kids Against Hunger Canada. I highly recommend ordering one of their big platters to share with one or two other people so you can try a variety of their popular items. I'm so happy Rosel's is sharing their amazing Filipino food with the KW community. It's about time more people know about our culture's food! I hope these photos I took make you drool.
Randomly picked this spot this afternoon. Amazing food and amazing service. My Dad was talking up a storm with an employee, asking so many questions, and the employee was so happy to answer anything thrown at him.We got the Lechon Kawali (super crispy and tasty with the sauce provided) and the Pansit Palabok (amazing flavor, loved the texture) for the mains and Siomai pork dumplings for a side (ABSOLUTE FIRE, THESE WERE AMAZING)I ordered the street food platter for my partner. She loved it all, and even used the chili oil/sauce (which she would not dare attempt anywhere else).
