"Had the Boondocks No 2 today and enjoyed every bite. 1st time visitor as a fun fact. Definitely returning and telling buddies about this local business and gem in my mind. When ordering in store take a moment for the vinyl on the wall and the tunes from the amps. Excited to try the platters, Jim. Fantastic newspaper reviews in store."

"The food here is great and the portions are HUGE. The owner was super friendly and told us they do live comedy shows between lockdowns. Based on the pictures on his walls of previous shows it seems like it would be fun and I look forwards to going back for that."

"There is always something very special, at least to me, of finding myself in a Levantine family owned restaurant. The warmth of the welcome is always palpable and the concern for your enjoyment is sincere. The lentil soup is excellent, the kibbeh are just what...you want them to be, the hummus is thick and tangy, the tabbouleh has no bulgar filler at all, just bright and green, the rice is fluffy and long and the shawarma tastes of the grill and careful seasoning. Well away from the bustle of the heart of U of Waterloo campus, this is a spot worth the extra few minutes to find you way toward."

"This location is small, hidden within the apartment buildings. The different menu options all sounds amazing, I got the tofu subway sandwich, it was sweet, crunch, crispy tofu with lettuce, green onions and a nice warm toasted subway sandwich. It was yummy, but I had to add ketchup to the sandwich, I definitely preferred something more spicer. However, this sandwich with your own hot sauce is absolutely delicious. I recommend ordering sandwiches then taking it home to enjoy with your own condiments. Thank you!"

"This spot is my favorite in the Waterloo region for South Asian food and culture. The dine in area is clean, appropriate lightening, excellent seating, and has a classy look to it. The employees there are easy going, caring, and nice folks. I tend to order Chicken Korma and Rasmalai for desert, hands down best in town. If your looking for a nice restaurant to go to on a date night or with family and friends while eating quality South Asia food, this is the spot."

"This Starbucks is absolutely AMAZING. Ashley and Mariah are always the ones to greet us as we walk in. They are super approachable, kind and welcoming. The Columbia location is hands down my go-to location now because of the positive experiences we have had with them there. All of the staff is phenomenal. "Delicious wrap! I got the crispy chicken and it was so yummy! The fries were perfect and I was excited about the pickle ^ ^ The portion was perfect and maybe even a bit big for me! I really enjoyed the cheese flavour you get when you bite into it! Also had the cauliflower soup which was good! Our server was very sweet and paid attention to detail. Without us asking she brought over a container for our left overs : I absolutely will be coming back !! "Definitely my favourite sushi spot in Kitchener-Waterloo! I always come back because I overall love their menu. They have great sushi rolls and the best chicken karaage.The staff is also very sweet and efficient. Whenever we go, they are always quick to greet seat us or put our name down to wait for a table. The tables move fairly fast from my experience and I think the longest I've ever had to wait was 30 minutes (super busy that time but it's always worth it!This visit we got the Ice Fire roll, Spicy Salmon roll, and 2 orders of the chicken karaage. I highly recommend their Salmon oshizushi as well as the grilled pork cheek and Salmon carpaccio.The Pink Lady cocktail is a favourite as well and I really enjoy their tofu cheesecake!The only problem would be the parking. There isn't usually available street parking that is fairly close to the restaurant (only sometimes if we're lucky! So be prepared to walk a little bit!"
