"Dined in earlier today, my husband and I ordered the confit wings, best burger in town and Friday’s special fish chips.The burger and wings were okay.Unfortunately the fish and chips were waaaaay too greasy. I had to soak up the extra grease from the fish and got two serviettes fully soaked with grease.However the service was good. Overall I’d say out experience were a little bit of a let down."

"First time here and we had a Greek coffee, and chicken souvlaki dinner! Great portion, not too much rice (just the right amount) and potatoes were quite delicious. Everything was quite flavourful including the Greek salad. The chicken was very juicy, not hard and slides off the skewer easily. I would recommend this place if you're looking for a Greek restaurant in Waterloo! Lastly, the service was great and our waitress checked up on us a few times to make our visit pleasant!"

"It's easy to get a pita anywhere, and as far as the food goes this place is perfectly fine. What really makes this a great stop is the people who work there. I unfortunately didn't catch their names but the two people working there today were just great. Both very warm, personable and seem to genuinely be happy which is so nice to see at a fast food establishment I hope this is a reflection of how well they're being treated as employees. Keep up the great work!"

"There is always something very special, at least to me, of finding myself in a Levantine family owned restaurant. The warmth of the welcome is always palpable and the concern for your enjoyment is sincere. The lentil soup is excellent, the kibbeh are just what...you want them to be, the hummus is thick and tangy, the tabbouleh has no bulgar filler at all, just bright and green, the rice is fluffy and long and the shawarma tastes of the grill and careful seasoning. Well away from the bustle of the heart of U of Waterloo campus, this is a spot worth the extra few minutes to find you way toward."
