Amazing place! Wonderful ambiance, great service, tasty dinner, and decent prices. Top of the line! I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Whenever I can I drive to Watrous to dine at the Pepper Tree the home of the best pizza in the province! I dare say in Canada!

"We got there and there was 3 other tables with people at them. We had our order taken promptly, our starters were brought out in under 10 minutes. Our main courses however, took well over an hour. We finally asked the waiter what the hold up was as other people had arrived well after us(30 minutes later) and had already received their food. He apologized and said he held back the order . Not sure what he meant by that. We then asked for our meals to just be packed up at is point because we had a 6 month old baby who was getting tired and hungry after sitting at the table for over an hour. Another 20 minutes go by and we finally got our food to go. My parents however, decided to stay and eat theirs at the restaurant and didn 't receive theirs for another 10 minutes after we left. Once they received their meal, their veggies and potato were cold. My husband and I got home and his meal looked child sized. One small scoop of potatoes and one small chicken breast (cordon bleu). He was left feeling hungry after he finished eating. My parents eneded up getting $30 off the meal and did not tip the waiter. The bill was still over $100 and in my eyes was not worth the wait and still not sure what even happened as it was not busy when we arrived. We will not be back. So disappointing."

"My husband and I came here for a weekend getaway and had a great time. They sent us first to the wrong room, but we were quickly in the whirlpool room we booked. Our room was really nice. The hotel as a whole is a little dated, and could use a refreshment in this way, but this has not done our stay at all. Still was a great time and the pool was great. Thanks for the wonderful weekend!"

"Laurie was the bartender when we walked into mike's directly from the beach. She was rude and abrasive toward us. I was wearing a swimsuit with a cover. There were no signs of dresscode and the words beach bar are scrawled on the side of the building with a beach volleyball court attached to the patio. Laurie very rudely told me to cover up, scoffed at the nerve of me wearing a swimsuit and refused to serve me until I dressed more appropriately. I felt body shamed and humiliated. She ruined my first day at manitou beach and soured the whole weekend from her behaviour. Will not be returning."

"Was recommended as the best burger they had ever had. Dissappointed. Burger lacked flavour despite addition of self serve condiment station. Pickles were pretty good though."
