"Family Owned and Operated and it shows! We were greeted and seated by one of the owners and you see them actively involved throughout the restaurant. Great service from the waiters waitresses as well! Definitely a classic dinner with solid breakfast options for anyone. The food came out conveniently quick and was definitely delicious. Pictured is the meat lover's skillet the stuffed french toast."

"Have been coming to LaDucs for 35 years..travelled 600 miles to come back once again. Love the cream puff pastry filled with vanilla frozen custard and topped with fresh raspberry sauce.. hubby got turtle sunday. Had to order and pi k up outside, didn't take away from deliciousness."

"I really wanted to like this place and in many ways I did. Traditional wings were crisp and tender , just a little under spiced (dry rub), but were still very good. Cobb salad was big and fresh with nice chunks of bacon. Mixed reviews about the quality of the cheeseburgers which seem to be a little over cooked. Still good bar fare overall. Problems though that we were seated next to a table full of tired discontented children (we had elderly companions on this day, and I was not enjoying the booth getting kicked) so we had to ask to move to the bar area, where seating was more appropriate. Our server was nice and attentive until the food arrived but then never returned until we beckoned her. There were way too many employees just standing around while we were there. Ample parking."

"All 4 of us had a craving for meatball subs. When we got there at 4:45, they were all out of meatballs! We called another Cousins in Brookfield, they had closed already because of lack of help. I'm guessing every place is having shortages and people not working. Isn't fast food paying $15 per hour now? Now that everyone is vaxed, can we all get back to work?"

"Great food, especially the burgers! Fish fry good too. Service very friendly, but be prepared to wait a little bit. They're very popular so there's a wait during normal dinner hours but worth the wait."

"It has been about 2yrs since Golden Gate's dining room has been open to the public. Had dinner there for the first time tonight and the food was wonderful, just as l remembered it. Our server was cheerful and efficent. I am so glad they are back. I missed them."
