"The food was excellent, even the Friday fish fry. The fish was lightly breaded and lightly fried, but nicely crisp. The fries were very good, like steak fries but curled and crisp enough. Tartar sauce was so-so. The red pepper soup was very good. Not avery big menu but adequate. Like everyone, they were short on wait staff and our server was trying to keep up. We just have tohave patience with them! They have a tough job right now."

"Came here on a Saturday night, and it wasn't too awful busy at 5:30. Our party of 5 could sit immediately and the server quickly took our beverage order. The menu is quite diverse with burgers, seafood, steak and other different articles. We ordered Walleye and Ribeye Steaks. It took about 15 to 20 minutes to get the food, and everything was perfectly cooked. The Walleye was delicious. Perfectly rubbed with a light bread and a beautiful touch of butter. Steak was also very good. It was medium rarely cooked exactly as ordered and had great taste! A great experience in The Loading Zone. Friendly staff, good service and an entertaining atmosphere. Definitely a great place for a family meal!"

"First time visit and a great surprise. My wife and I had two different noodle dishes and grilled spring rolls all excellent. Appreciate the fact that you can select the heat (spice) level from zero to 4. I had my meal set to 3 and my wife had her dish at 2. So nice to customize the spice level. Very nice wait staff, just enough attention without feeling ignored or pestered. They could use some sound absorption it was pretty noisy and a little hard to talk at times. We stopped in on a Monday at 6 pm and were very glad we had called ahead for a reservation. We will be back often!"

"This place is great! We arrived with a party of 10. They sat us right away. The entire restaurant was very clean, and I loved the atmosphere. Our waitress was helpful and prompt. Our food and sushi arrived very fast, and all of it tasted DELICIOUS! I will definitely go back. "My absolute favorite restaurant and a must stop when in Wausau. Local organic foods, unique and creative menu, beautiful presentation, delicious from the first smell as you walk in the door to the last bite of dessert. "One of best meals I have ever had. The chef and server were willing to answer numerous questions on the menu. Having traveled the country for work and dined at many nice establishments, Ciao is a gem in the small city of Wausau. Saturday Beef Wellingtonspecial is deliciously executed. Atmosphere is decadent. Jenny is an amazing server. Would love to have a glass of wine withher and talk about our favorite Amazon finds."

"I absolutely loved it! Just the same as any other Texas Roadhouse that I've been to! Food was fantastic! Staff was fantastic! Can't really say for sure how long the wait could have been, due to the fact that we put it for a waiting list so a table was ready when we arrived. The one plate shown in the photo with mostly steak is the prime rib with seasoned rice. The other plate shown is the Dallas Fillet, seasoned rice, 2 dinner rolls, corn, and green beans."
