"We were passing the area looking for a coffee shop. We have been before and enjoyed it so decided to go back again... Well the coffee was great and the sponge jam cake was superb again. 10/10. The gents who run the business are very...friendly making the place great. They have a full food lunch menu that looks great and we will try it next time we are out for lunch. Perfect for families or a catch up with friends and family."

"Thursday Date Day The experience started from the phone call to book to be told they were full, but then we received a message to offer a table following a cancellation, which was great of them. On arrival from the start, service was on point!! We were seated at the bar as we were early, the bar staff (mixologist) were very knowledgeable and advised on drinks. We were then led to a lounge area where we could relax and order our food with nibbles. We were then led upstairs to the restaurant where nothing was too much trouble. Amazing food. Amazing staff. Amazing experience!!! Great fine dining experience.....totally worth it Mr and Mrs Williams"

"I have had the pleasure of staying at The Hog having come across it online. I had heard about a major renovation after it had been bought by new owners and was unsure what to expect. Upon arrival I was greeted with warmth and welcome from the Reception team and shown to my room. My room was immaculate, well presented and exceeded my expectations. I was able to settle into my room and rested well that night. The following morning I made my way to the restaurant for breakfast and was delighted by the friendliness of the staff and presentation of the restaurant space, not to mention the delicious breakfast that had been prepared for me. I only originally booked a single night, but having met the owners, and explained that I would have liked to stay longer, they were able to ensure my room was available for a consecutive night, which was unexpected and very kind. The hotel is a delight, fairly priced, and I would strongly recommend it to anyone considering booking a stay; you will not be disappointed."

"I've known the swan hotel for over fifty years. in the did it was the first place I stayed in suffolk when my parents decided to buy a plot of land and build a house in walberswick. when I learned from the recent renovation, I was a bit careful, and the well-supported traditional style gave the contemporary design space. but after I made the jump into another time, I must say that the results are great. eating is now and very much up with the best in suffolk next to the great house of lavenham and the fox and goose of fressingfield. her 'gin poached birne, seasoned crumbs and Italian meringue with a cassis sorbet ' was like a party in mouth! the personal, guided by craig and yasmin, supported by the eccentric holmes, ensure that the service is both very efficient and friendly. many thanks also to nadia, richard, emily, rebecca for making the swan a "home from home '."
