We came across The village maid after a dog walk last week, after being made to feel so welcome and our dog being spoilt we couldn’t wait to come back! We wasn’t disappointed the service, the setting and the food was all absolutely brilliant! We come from Martham so a bit of a drive out but completely worth it and can’t wait to return! Have been several times recently but last couple of times we were very disappointed . The time before we did complain the food was cold but gave the pub another try this time with friends. We asked for a table for after 7.00 pm but we’re told they had nothing available, only 6.45 pm. When we arrived there were only four tables being used and nobody came in after us.
