Ordered takeaway.told 1hr delivery.21/2 hrs later still waiting.phoned 3 times wile waiting.1st time lied to and told has been dispatched.2nd time asked for manager who told us she would contact driver and call us back.still waiting for return call 14hrs later.3rd call assured that food would be piping hot,NOT HOT!eventually food arrived.NOT IMPRESSED.will shop elsewhwere in future

I used to get takeaway from this restaurant regularly and it was great but the quality has gone downhill. The chicken has a watery processed texture to it and the last time I ordered here it wasn’t great, the meat was horrible, I didn’t even finish it and I normally never leave a morsel on my plate. I was ill afterwards too.

Whilst spending a few days in Haslemere, my wife and I fancied a curry and chose Shahanaz. So glad we ignored the negative reviews of this restaurant. The service was excellent and the food superb. We live in Brighton and go,out for a curry a lot. There is so much competition in Brighton that Indian restaurants have to be good or they don’t survive. Our meal at Shahanaz was on a par with some of the better Indian restaurants in Brighton and overall, was better value for money.

Arrived at 2000 to find the place empty. Ordered our favourite dishes. Food arrived and was tastless, tasted like cheap budget reheated gloop Such a disappointment Also owners were sat at a table eating food whilst the owner came out from reheating the food wearing...

The restaurant was quite but phone orders where very busy, the staff were friendly, food was fantastic, would highly recommend,
