Maggie 's Galley is a reliable place to enjoy seafood and much more. The value is there in this homestyle local favorite with a bar. My husband loves Southern style food and this restaurant fits the bill. Recently he enjoyed a fried catfish and oyster platter with red beans and rice and collard greens. Called ahead to be sure they had food my elderly mother could eat (she has a swallowing disorder), we 're from a long ways away. Get there. Very few in the restaurant when we 're seated, we 're told they 're all out ... I was a mile away when I called.
