What User doesn't like about The British Queen:
Walking the dog with my wife, and stopped for a wine and a shandy, as you do when it's a nice evening. I noticed that my pint seemed a little flat but it was refreshingly chilled, but as we continued our walk, with in five...minutes I brought it all up. Thankfully I hadn't drank it all. Sorry British Queen...we will not be back. View all feedback.
1st time we had been to this pub. Staff were very attentive even though the pub was really busy. It was a band night and we have seen 4 blind nuns before aand as always didnt disappoint. Great night thank you so much Katy and...wendy

Love this place. Usually pop in on the way back from walking dog on the downs. Always welcoming, and they give my dog treats... Which means he always wants to go there! I've never had a bad meal there.
I went to the British Queen for my brothers birthday as they allow dogs and my son has a puppy and didn't want to leave him. Although the food was good we had to wait over an hour and this was far too long. Other...people were complaining about the long wait too. Such a shame
It is always nice to return from foreign parts to come back to your own local and its character and characters
