What SLHO13 doesn't like about The Star Inn:
One of the tables next to us asked the waitress if she could help and she replied ‘I didn’t take your order, don’t ask me!’, quickly followed by ‘don’t shoot the messenger.’ Our food took 50 mins for a fish finger sandwich and a ploughman’s. Neither of which was bad but slightly overpriced. Seriously doubt this place would cope on a sunny non- COVID restricted day when full! Oh and white wine not great. View all feedback.
Excellent fish pies and burger last night Thank You to the Chef and Staff. A great pub and atmosphere for both visitors and locals
Friendly traditional country pub. Had a few meals there, always a good choice and great food. Especially enjoyed the Sunday Lunch.
