"Put this restaurant at the top of your list for where to eat in Knysna! It was recommended to us when we were shopping on Thesens Island. You can't beat it for the view, and the service was rivaled only by the food. The tide was coming in fast and we were entertained by watching various boats attempt to battle the swift current; most made it through, but several had to turn back. Do yourself a favor and stop by! There is a nice little hike to a lookout spot from the corner of the parking lot, and then a gelato stand ready to reward you when you get back from that"

"We were lucky enough to get a table as booking is usually essential. We had Babotie as starter it was delicious. We then had the fillet steak as main. It was the best tasting melt in your mouth steak I have ever had. Dessert was a magnificent chocolate cake, which I wouldn't normally have. To die for. With a decent bottle of red wine for less than £50 Good value, good food, and great host."
