I have been to the Scarborough location 2 years ago and didn't know this location opened in Mississauga as well which is closer to home. It had a nice ambience, greeted right away by the house, clean and quaint space. Ordered the teri mayo pork loin katsu and sweet chilli pork loin with cheese katsu. Excellent katsu, a small portion of solid curry, and some of the worst rice I’ve ever been served in a restaurant. Lukewarm and soggy. You take rice for granted since a cheap rice maker can produce passable results, but curry katsu with mediocre rice isn’t a great experience. Maybe it was yesterdays rice? Not sure. read more.
