"Familie Höfler besitzt einen der schönsten Höfe in Millstatt mit genialer Aussicht auf den See. Man sitzt unter grossen alten Bäumen oder in der urgemütlichen Stube. Auf den Tisch kommt, was selbst hergestellt wird, z.B. die üppigen und leckeren Brotzeiten und verschiedene hausgemachte Most-Sorten. Der Buschenschank ist bei Einheimischen und Gästen äusserst beliebt und manchmal ist dann leider alles schon besetzt. Hat man aber einen Tisch ergattert, darf man für die Dauer des Aufenthalts einfach das Gefühl geniessen, dass hier die Welt noch absolut in Ordnung ist."

"I know Konditorei Semmelrock already many years and I have learned that the restaurant offers a nice outdoor seating area, good coffee, and excellent pastries. But the service of the staff can vary from good till indifferent. But this time Konditorei Semmelrock was let down by the staff. There was plenty of staff available, but it didn't show. We ordered cappuccino and cake, but only the cappuccino arrived. After waiting a long time for the pastries, we decided to pay the bill and leave. Of course the waitress charged us for the cake as well. When we pointed out that we never got the cake, the waitress said that the cake would arrive shortly (We had waited for 20 minutes, while drinking our coffees), and when we declined this, she amended the bill without an apology. Furthermore, inside the restaurant there were several tables waiting to be cleared and the smoking section was in open connection with the non-smoking part. Not a good show."

"This hotel should be given 5stars, we had lovely room with a balcony. The parking is right in front of hotel, restaurant in the house and pub in front yard. This is marvelous we loved the food, fresh made desert made our evening. We would love to book again each summer, best place for bicycle tours. The most important is try the cheese dumplings and vanilla pudding. The hotel is a family run hotel and happens to be almost 100 years in there possession. The price is right for hotel room. Thank you for lovely hospitality"
