What User doesn't like about Weldborough Hotel Restaurant:
This pub is under new management, and used to be full of character, old wooden floors, mellow walls etc. Now it is painted bright white all over, and the floors are shiny and yellow, they look new! Maybe people like that sort of thing ... The food was ok, though no better than previously. The service was friendly, and the bar person welcoming. An enjoyable lunch today, a massive delicious steak sandwich. A selection of craft beer hard to choose and a cosy fire. Worth a look!!
The Weldborough Hotel is well worth the drive. We had taken sandwiches for lunch so did not require any food. But my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed their beer tasting.
Camping in Derby had been told this was a good place to go for a meal as little evening options in Derby. Would agree after having well presented and nicely cooked food. The only down, one of our group had to wait for their meal as it seemed to have been overlooked but that didn't take too long.
