"An amazing boardgame cafe/restaurant. Been there a couple of times (once on a double date and the second time with my boardgame savvy 4 yo). A lot of boardgames, nice selection. We enjoyed the chicken burger but the venison burger was quite dry. I can see us returning many times in the future."

"Edit: It seems Hiakai has shut their doors as their last season finished April 1 (as per website) and no new bookings have been released. Pretty good! Awesome tasty food and service, had the wine match and that was great too. The only thing that could be a little different for that price is maybe some more experimental items instead of just a cake as the dessert. I know from photos old-style Hiakai used to be experimental but seems to have lost it's touch recently."

"My group of 4 attended WOAP: Not Only Murders in the Building WOAP event last Saturday at The Library and it was just brilliant! Using characters from the comedy mystery TV series 'Only Murders in the Building ', participants were given a case file to inspect and identify the murderer of Cinda Canning. I am most impressed by the detail put into creating the entire event the event posters, the menu of delicious cocktails and accompanying snacks (dips that came out in a Dimas paper bag, the #14 Sandwich, gut milk , even the music playlist all meticulously tied in to many key features of the TV show. And the mystery case itself! So cleverly weaved, we definitely needed to put our thinking caps on and observation skills into good use whilst trying not to get too muddleheaded having consumed 4.5 yummy cocktails in the 2 hour session : Staff were super friendly and regularly came to check on tables to see if participants needed hints to help crack the case."
