Yelp
The place was fairly busy but we were seated quickly. Our wait staff were friendly and professional. While we snacked on pappdoms and various chutneys,...
Appears to be good food but I wouldn't know since we have been waiting over an hour for it to arrive.
Not authentic, more modern... A mix of kiwi with some Indian touch....good to try if u are new to Indian food... Could improve on wine matches...

"In the evenings, especially at weekends, this place pumps. Loud, chaotic, no seats and high decibel conversations. A quieter outside area can be cold in winter except next to the gas heater. Promoted as a craft beer bar with a South American theme it plays on two currently fashionable bits of beer/food culture... And it seems to be successful. <br/ <br/ I think the craft beer side is ok but I must confess there are probably too many microbreweries producing similar products apa/ipa, some with too many hops. It's unquestionable that flavoured beers are popular and some are very clever, but there is more to the world of beer than these. Where are the imperial stouts and barley wines, geuze and other sours, the wheat beers etc. I have to confess I struggled to find something really interesting at bebemos and couldn't compare it in any way with hashigo zaki. On the Friday evening I simply opted for red wine it was more warming in the outside area than anything else bar whisky.<br/ <br/ I returned a few Saturday's later in the morning at about 11. It was dead. It felt like all bars the morning after, and the guy behind the bar looked the part. Despite proclaiming that he hated coffee culture he managed to come up with the best trim caps of the week although one needed two goes to make it to the table intact. <br/ I ordered a black bean cassoulet on toast and got a black bean quesadilla. Somewhere between my accent and his Glaswegian we were lost in translation. It was delicious.<br/ <br/ When we left we were happy, full and amused what else would you want ? Sure the coffee hiccuped but it was great and sure I got what I didn't order but it was delicious. You could argue that all that deserves a bad review but the reason why I gave it a four is because it was all good food and the service was delightfully different. He had personality in spades, and at the end of the day that overcame any problems we had. He was a rough cut gem. <br/ <br/ I'd recommend bebemos if he's there. In the evening I'd go early to get a seat. Forget it as a date night or somewhere to take parents but it would be good for a noisy group as long as there wasn't any serious conversation to be had. I'd suggest being brave with food they have burgers and fries and nachos of course but go for some of the other interesting stuff quesadilla? but maybe write it down for them."

"Really delicious food and great service. Such a great spot if gluten intolerant like me but my bf loved it too. Definitely not sacrificing anything to be GF as is often the case! And thank you so much for ferry tip after finding out our ferry was cancelled. Went to the port the next morning and queued till we got on!"

"I love lasagna and I'd read that this place has the best lasagna in town. So my husband and I went there for lunch, we had garlic pizza bread which was yummy, and the lasagna which was amazing! Definitely the best lasagna I've ever had. It was a very generous serving of lasagna, accompanied by a delicious green salad. We are taking Italian lessons in preparation for a trip to Italy so we practiced our Italian on our waiter who was very nice and didn't laugh at our mispronunciation."

"Each time I go to Goldings, we tend to order a pizza from here. It’s cool, if you order from Goldings they’ll deliver it to you there. No extra charge. They don’t have a specific vegan pizza but you can modify them to be vegan. Proper pizza ovens create light, thin base, fresh toppings. Love it. Perfect match with one of the beers. Staff are friendly and helpful too."
