"We were at the bnb and decided to dinner in the restaurant. had an absolutely delicious sirloin with brand bones, cooked to perfection with beautiful shoestringries and vegetables. I had to help stop the steak. we had the doolhof dark lady to go with him excellent and ended with some of the house brand that was also excellent."

"Attentive service, lovely food, excellent wine an idyllic experience is on your doorstep Paarl seems like it might be a great trek. However we were pleasantly surprised to be rewarded with an idyllic escape after a 40 minute journey out of Cape Town. Service was superlative and the restaurant is a run attentively and unobtrusively. The menu was delightful with foraged items being used excellently, beautifully and tastily in a garden setting with a wonderful landscape to crown it all. Portions were generous and the wine is incredible."
