"Went for breakfast on Tuesday 17th May, had the small breakfast, it was delicious the bacon was really thick and very tasty as were the sausages. The egg was lovely and runny. The granary bread was very fresh. All in all a very pleasant experience, will definitely be going back before the end of our holiday."

"I have been several times to this restaurant and it is fantastic to find an authentic italian restaurant. I have been on my own, with my partner, family and with work colleagues for a business lunch. The atmosphere is wonderful, you feel you could actually be in a restaurant in italy itself. The staff are so friendly and genuinely make you feel welcome. The food is delicious, I came away feeling that I had just eaten a meal that you would have in an italian home, with recipes that have been handed down from generation to generation."

"We must have hit an off night at the Monkton Inn. They do advertise a lot of gluten free food which is great worth a mark. However my wife ordered a chicken burger, which was basically a dry chicken breast in a Warburton's gluten free bun with 12 chips. Whilst price rises are hitting everyone, this was terrible value for £12 not great to eat either."
