Lessiters is located on the main London road to either Knebworth or Welwyn, depending on which direction you are traveling. The restaurant has a car park on site and used to be a chocolate factory with a shop. Now, they have added an inside and outside tea room. The atmosphere is relaxing and the service is good. What PARASCOSA doesn't like about Lessiter's:
We had been promising ourselves a coffee at Lessiter's and cake ever since lockdown ended. We ordered two coffees, only to find that all of the cartons of milk available were off and so we were offered free soft drinks instead. Given that there is a supermarket just one mile away, it seemed a bit odd that nobody dashed off to buy some fresh milk; we would not have minded waiting ten minutes. The Sacherorte was a tad...
